Brittney Emley
Yoga Instructor
Canadian born Brittney began her yoga journey in 2005. She came to the practice with a very bad back that saw her seeing the Chiropractor every three weeks and she would often wake with migraines. Shortly after starting a regular practice her chronic back and neck pain disappeared and she hasn’t had a spine induced head ache in nearly 20 years.
Brittney had such a profound shift in her life when she started yoga that she knew she needed to teach it. Her hope is to help others receive the healing benefits of yoga that she continues to experience.
In 2010 Brittney drove to San Diego for the nine week, 800hr Bikram Yoga training. Shortly after becoming a teacher she moved to London and began to teach full time. In 2016 she continued her training in Vinyasa Yoga.
Brittney and her family moved to Cranleigh in 2016 and she started teaching in the community right away. She currently teaches elderly students with the assistance of a chair, students with cerebral palsy and studio classes of all levels. She has a lot of experience to offer and will work with you to find a practice that suits your specific needs.
“I believe that yoga is for everyone. Your body isn’t the same everyday but yoga will always tailor itself to your daily needs.”
